3. Spanish Wells

Designed by Bill Maddox and redesigned by Corral/Howard, this 18-hole, 6,891 yard championship golf course offers the combination of challenge and strategy that will impress golfers at every skill level. The course reveals an impressive percentage of water throughout play with three holes -- requiring you to carry water. The 8th hole, a strategic par 5, dares you to go for the - green...in two. But if you're short, the water hazard will penalize your score. The newly built modified USGA construction greens compete favorably with any putting surface in Southwest Florida. Experience the beauty and the challenge of Spanish Wells golf course. Its personality will appeal to your sense of fair play.

5. Worthington

This golf course is one of those where thoughtfulness is every bit as much of an ally as ball-striking ability. Bunkers and water hazards enter play only when an ill-struck shot is directed at them, bringing back the forgotten "bump and run" shot.

There are no "gimme" holes on the course. However, all 18 can be a pleasure when played correctly.

A 36 hole golf club with contrasting 18-hole layouts that fit any golfer's demands.

The East course is considered by many area golf professionals to be the best test of golfing skill in the area. An errant shot will often contend with a tree lined dogleg and medium length rough.

The course tends to play long but fair from all sets of tees.

The West course is more of a placement course, requiring the golfer to negotiate doglegs where more water is present.

The greens on both courses were recently renovated to keep the course in top condition.
